MOSCOW, Jun 2 (PRIME) -- The Industry and Trade Ministry is considering a proposal of industry participants to cut the list of radioelectronics allowed for parallel imports, the ministry said in a statement Friday.
"Due to optimization of the list of brands allowed for parallel imports, the ministry is indeed considering a proposal by the industry to limit the list of products in the part of radioelectronics," the statement read. The ministry is accepting estimates of production of analogs in Russia, it said.
Business daily Kommersant reported that the ministry was considering limiting parallel imports of products of more than 20 foreign brands, including Acer, IBM and Dell.
